The Hambleton Inn has all the expected amenities of any first class Inn, but it has its own distinctive character, as well ... as individual as each of its guest chambers. There is the feeling of another era: Chandeliers, brasswork, oriental carpets, finely tooled furnishings, paintings, etchings, prints, and the finest collection of cookbooks in the Chesapeake Bay ... all reflections of the fortunes and treasures brought home from foreign ports, and from lifetimes at sea. There is even an upper floor porch providing a clear view of boats on the Miles River and the Chesapeake Bay, and the lighthouse of the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum.

The Hambleton Inn is a gracious and noble place to visit and stay. It's a wonderful experience, right on the Harbor of St. Michaels, the "Nantucket of the Chesapeake Bay".

Please note: Because we are a small Inn, we reserve your room with a payment of 50% of the charge at the time of reservation, and 50% within 30 days of your stay. Rates do not include taxes. Cancellations made 30 days or more prior to arrival are permitted with a full refund less a $35 handling charge. Cancellations made less than 30 days prior to arrival date will result in forfeiture of total charges if the room cannot be re-rented. It is the guest's responsibility to ensure that the cancellation is received.
